The unit has a LSM 700 confocal microscope (Zeiss) controlled by the software "ZEN" and whose base is an inverted fully motorized stand.
Objectives: Sec: 10x (0.3), 20x (0.8), 40x (0.6); Oil immersion: 40x (1.3), 63x (1.4), 100x (1.4)
Available filters for fluorescence observation: GFP, DsRed, YFP, CFP, DAPI.
Using this microscope, are possible:
- Multiple immune markers on cells or tissues, co-localization studies;
- The acquisition XYZ with the possibility of 3D reconstruction;
- Acquiring XY (Z) t enabling dynamic approaches such as calcium imaging;
- Studies of molecular dynamics by FRAP, FLIP, BRET;
- Studies of molecular interaction by FRET.
The microscope was funded by the Region Pays de la Loire is available to users of the site.
